Fragment Media Group is a pioneer of the member media model. Our brands, including the Daily Dot, Nautilus, One5c, and Passionfruit identify underserved audiences and provide them with the intentional content that readers seek out—to read, watch, listen to, and experience live.

Each of our properties has a newsletter, and one of the most effective ways to capture quality audiences for these newsletters is through highly targeted ad placement in other newsletters.

FMG is looking for a part-time Media Buyer to help us grow our newsletter subscriber lists by managing the newsletter ad placement process across our 4 titles.

Description of day to day:

  • Research newsletters to create target partners for ad placements promoting FMG titles 
  • Negotiate ad buys in other newsletters, helping us reach our target CPA and staying within weekly budget
  • Manage acquisition budget, and optimize for best performance
  • Schedule and track ad placements
  • Weekly performance reporting
  • Monitoring of reporting to determine placements to increase budget for and those to cut

The ideal candidate will be a student of and fan of the business of newsletters. They’ll have a handle on industry terms and pricing structures.
